An interview with Milan 1

English translation

I: Hello, ladies and gentleman, this is 'Život u trendu' (Trendy life) and today is with us one of the most wanted famous people, Milan Stanković. Do you live trendy these days?
Milan: I live out of all trends because these days my life is subordinated by my obligations.
I: Now we're going to see how your phisical prepares for Eurovision look
like. Have you bought everything you need for your styling?
Milan: It's never enough of that...
I: Our show is using the chance before your departure...
Milan: First version is Spanish and it's really sweet because Spanish is very appropriate...
I: Habla usted español? (Do you speak Spanish?)
Milan: Un poco. (A little.) We had a teacher from Venezuela so everything you hear is learned.
I: Okay, but Spanish is great because half of the whole world speak Spanish. it's the first language after English...
Milan: And it's very melodic... For this song I think it's better than English.
I: Tell me, have you bought all the cosmetics? Do you still need something?
Milan: Well, I don't because we're taking makeup artists with us. We wont buy this..
I: But you have some of your makeup..?
Milan: I got an advice that I should have my own brush when I'm going on photosessions..So I have a brush.
I: But you don't buy your own foundations?
Milan: No..that would be really excessively..I'm tired of make-up and I think that is more torment than a pleasure.
I: How often do you dye your hair? Once a month..?
Milan: Maybe more often..
I: It's not easy to be a woman. (laugh) But it's also not easy to be a metrosexual.
Milan: I don't like that expression.
I: I found one title.Your statement: "I'm a metrosexual."
Milan: I know... Now it's like we just need to be photographed and they will write what ever they want. Unfortunately, that expression has an abusively meaning here. But this is my job and I need to look the best... I chose to be different so I can't just take a shower, shave myself and go out. With that you don't make any illusion, that's not showbussiness..
I: Yes, that all has become a part of personal hygiene... Men have to cherish themselves. It's the same when you go to the dentist to cherish your teeth and going to the beautician to cherish your face. And later if you need a shrink to stay mental healthy.
Milan: That would be great. We should really work on ourselves because we ignore 'mental hygiene'.
I: Do you feel like we act primitive again..that we are terribly conservative and propagate some values from the past time?
Milan: I don't know...
I: Maybe in male-female relations..
Milan: Well I'm a bit traditional when we talk about male-female relations. But I think that we shouldn't close up just in our yard..We need to open it, see what's happening outside in your neighbour's yard and took the best..
I: You don't think about your neighbour's wife..? (laugh) Do you??
Milan: No, of course not.
I: Do you like some parfum..?
Milan: Where are parfumes for men?
I: Do you have your favourite parfum or you like to experiment?
Milan: I have two favourite parfumes.. That I like the most, Rocha, I can't find here so I buy it when I travel abroad. And here, as a replacement, I use Ultra Red.. I don't like fresh parfumes which smell like boron, I like sweet parfumes with character.
Milan: I don't feel well in anything that is classic.
I: Well that's okay, you're 22 years old and you belong to a new generation. New thends belong to young people.
I: We already concluded that we have to shower several times a day, we need to use deodorant, wash our feet.
I: How many pairs of shoes do you have?
Milan: I don't know. Really many. I look for the most striking models.
I: That you're wearing nove are the same you wore on appearance?
Milan: Yes, that's why I bought them. I needed white ones which sparkle.
I: Are you ready to spend your last coin on shopping?
Milan: No, I'm very rational in that. I don't buy like a maniac.
